After 15 years in the exhibition business, Crown sold his theater circuit in 2007 and began investing in and producing independent films. Daniel currently serves on the Board of Lincoln Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, Connecticut Public Broadcasting, The Jerusalem Foundation, The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, The Lollipop Theater Network and the Mount Sinai Children’s Center Foundation.
A native of Chicago, Daniel has been a resident of New York for more than 25 years where he and his wife, Ellen, are the proud parents of four children.
Daniela Taplin LundbergPartner
Lundberg has been making films since 1998. Among the 20 she has produced, she is most proud of her work on Lisa Cholodenko’s THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT, Jim Strouse’s GRACE IS GONE, Justin Theroux’s DEDICATION and Michael Showalter’s THE BAXTER. Lundberg was a partner at Plum Pictures for 7 years before starting Red Crown. A native of Los Angeles, she has lived in New York for more than 10 years. She and her husband Ted are proud parents of three children. Lundberg is a graduate of Princeton University.
Riva MarkerPresident of Production
Prior to launching Red Crown with Crown and Lundberg, Marker worked with Plum Pictures for four years, managing post-production and co-producing over 15 feature films in that time. She was an executive producer on Lisa Cholodenko’s THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT and Siegel and McGehee’s WHAT MAISIE KNEW. In addition to producing narrative features, Marker has a strong documentary background, including Ellen Kuras’ Academy Award nominated THE BETRAYAL and Michael Moore's CAPITALISM: A LOVE STORY. In 2009, Marker was honored with a Young Alumni Achievement Award by her alma mater, Pennsylvania State University.
Alish ErmanCreative Executive
Erman’s responsibilities include sifting through scripts, books, plays, articles, lore and hearsay in search of stories to add to its development slate. Prior to working at Red Crown, Erman was an intern at Focus Features and The Weinstein Company, assisted in locations for FX's Louie and in casting for Bravo's Millionaire Matchmaker. He is a graduate of Columbia University.
Max SchneiderAssistant to Daniel Crown
As Assistant to Daniel Crown, Schneider wears many hats at Red Crown. He is the liaison for the many philanthropic efforts and boards Crown is involved with and helps coordinate the special events and film festivals Red Crown is a part of. He is a graduate of Florida State University and a native New Yorker.
Rebecca CammarataAssistant to Daniela Taplin Lundberg
As Assistant to Daniela Taplin Lundberg, Cammarata helps with various aspects of production for Red Crown projects and facilitates the day to day operations of the company. She started in the industry as an intern at Wayfare Entertainment where she performed script coverage for the CEO and Vice President of Development. She also worked on the set of Sebastian Cordero's EUROPA REPORT and assisted with the post production of that film. She is a graduate of Loyola University.
