FOUNDED IN 2010 BY DANIEL CROWN AND DANIELA TAPLIN LUNDBERG, RED CROWN PRODUCTIONS IS A NEW YORK-BASED DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION COMPANY PRODUCING INDEPENDENT AND STUDIO-PARTNERED HIGH-END FILMS. RED CROWN STRIVES TO CREATE ARTISTIC, DIRECTOR DRIVEN MATERIAL THAT IS AT ONCE ENTERTAINING AND IN DISCUSSION WITH THE CULTURE WE ARE IN.
After 15 years in the exhibition business, Crown sold his theater circuit in 2007 and began investing in and producing independent films. Daniel currently serves on the Board of Lincoln Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, Connecticut Public Broadcasting, The Jerusalem Foundation, The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, The Lollipop Theater Network, Mount Sinai Children’s Center Foundation, Hamptons International Film Festival and Vanderbilt University Board of Trustees.
A native of Chicago, Daniel has been a resident of New York for more than 30 years where he and his wife, Ellen, are the proud parents of four children.
Daniela Taplin LundbergManaging Partner
Lundberg has been making films since 1999 and was a partner at Plum Pictures for 7 years before starting Red Crown. Among the 20 she has produced, she is most proud of her work on Lisa Cholodenko’s THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT, Siegel and McGehee’s WHAT MAISIE KNEW, and Susanna Fogel's LIFE PARTNERS, which premiered at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival.
A native of Los Angeles, she has lived in New York for more than 15 years. She and her husband Ted are proud parents of three children. Lundberg is a graduate of Princeton University.
Riva MarkerPresident of Production
Prior to launching Red Crown with Crown and Lundberg, Marker worked with Plum Pictures for four years, managing post-production and co-producing over 15 feature films in that time. She was an executive producer on Lisa Cholodenko’s THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT and Siegel and McGehee’s WHAT MAISIE KNEW. In addition to producing narrative features, Marker has a strong documentary background, including Ellen Kuras’ Academy Award nominated THE BETRAYAL and Michael Moore's CAPITALISM: A LOVE STORY. In 2009, Marker was honored with a Young Alumni Achievement Award by her alma mater, Pennsylvania State University.
Rebecca CammarataCreative Executive
Cammarata began as an assistant at Red Crown before becoming the Creative Executive. In pursuit of fresh and exciting stories, she analyzes the scripts, books, and ideas submitted to the company as well as sources new material. She helps to further develop the projects currently on Red Crown's slate and assists as each one goes into production. She started in the industry as an intern at Wayfare Entertainment where she performed script coverage for the CEO and Vice President of Development. She is a graduate of Loyola University.
Max SchneiderAssistant to Daniel Crown
As Assistant to Daniel Crown, Schneider wears many hats at Red Crown. He is the liaison for the many philanthropic efforts and boards Crown is involved with and helps coordinate the special events and film festivals Red Crown is a part of. He is a graduate of Florida State University and a native New Yorker.
